Shelby Moscrip - Partner - CFO Advisory

Shelby Moscrip is a Partner who oversees CFO Advisory and Fractional CFO services at Accountor CPA. She is a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) and Xero Certified Advisor with more than 10 years of expertise in financial strategy, operational leadership, full accounting cycles, payroll, business process improvement and business consultancy services. Shelby works with business owners and leadership teams to enhance financial performance, support better informed decision making, and build scalable finance processes to help accelerate growth.

She has experience in leading equity and debt financings in excess of $60 million in close collaboration with executive teams, lenders and investors. She helps businesses through growing pains, complexity and transition. She has also been behind expansion strategies, multi-company restructures and IFRS consolidations of huge enterprises, enhancing reporting, governance and operational transparency.

Shelby is responsible for developing and maintaining client connections, advocating for business growth and leading and mentoring teams at Accountor CPA. She is a key player in the firm’s continued growth and delivers top-notch service. Shelby is known for her strategic, analytical, client-centric approach, fusing technology-oriented financial systems with pragmatic consulting support. Her knowledge of programs such as QuickBooks, Xero, Wagepoint, Hubdoc and ADP helps clients improve their financial procedures, simplify reporting and get a better understanding of their business performance.

Prior to joining Accountor CPA, Shelby owned and founded TwentySix Consulting, providing Fractional CFO and finance consultancy services to developing companies. She advised entrepreneurs and leaders on financial planning, operational improvements and improving finance operations for long-term success.

Shelby is on the board of a nonprofit organization and likes to travel and spend time at the lake in the summer.
