Galea Gherasimencova - Senior Staff Accountant
Galea is a dedicated accounting professional with more than eight years of experience in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and supporting the financial operations of businesses across construction, manufacturing, professional services, and non-profit organizations. As a Senior Accountant, she has built strong expertise in month-end close, account reconciliations, cash flow management, process improvement, and multi-entity accounting environments.
She brings a structured and detail-oriented approach to her work and is known for building efficient processes, improving workflows, and maintaining accurate and timely financial records. Along with accounting operations, Galea has developed strong experience working with cloud accounting and ERP systems including QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
In addition to her accounting career, Galea has hands-on experience as a business owner in the construction industry, giving her a practical understanding of the challenges entrepreneurs face — from cash flow and operations to growth and decision-making. This perspective helps her support clients not only as an accountant, but also as someone who understands business ownership firsthand.
Galea holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance & Accounting and continues pursuing professional development in accounting, technology, and process optimization. Before joining Accountor, Galea worked with private companies across multiple industries, supporting business owners and leadership teams with accounting operations, reporting, and financial processes.
Outside of work, Galea enjoys spending time with her family and supporting her children’s passions in music and sports. You can often find her cheering on local soccer teams from the sidelines, enjoying the sense of community, teamwork, and dedication that sports bring. She also enjoys exploring new ways technology can improve business operations.
