Faraz Malik - Accounting Manager

Faraz Malik is an ACCA-certified Chartered Accountant with over five years of progressive experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting. Throughout his career, he has successfully supported businesses across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, retail, and e-commerce. His extensive work with clients in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom provides our team and clients with a strong cross-border perspective on financial operations, compliance, and reporting standards.

Prior to joining Accountor CPA, Faraz served as a Senior Bookkeeper at a Canadian public accounting firm. In this role, he managed full-cycle bookkeeping for a portfolio of Canadian and U.S.-based clients, where his core responsibilities included:

• Maintaining accurate, audit-ready financial records
• Overseeing month-end close processes
• Ensuring timely and reliable financial reporting

Earlier in his career, Faraz worked as an Accounts Officer at Majestic Instruments in Pakistan and provided remote accounting services to international clients as a freelancer. These experiences strengthened his adaptability, ownership mindset, and ability to manage key client relationships across varied business environments.

Faraz brings a strong working knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, combined with deep proficiency in modern cloud-based accounting ecosystems, including:

• Dext and Hubdoc
• Advanced Excel

He has hands-on expertise in reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and month-end close operations. Faraz’s approach emphasizes accuracy, structured processes, and continuous improvement to ensure total financial clarity and operational efficiency for our clients.
